Ok, we know you just read the title of this video and made a “HIGH” and “COLORADO” joke – we’ve all made those! However, this isn’t that kind of a video. In today’s Gearist Dailies Brandon heads up above 9,000 feet to get some higher altitude training in preparation for the Transrockies Run coming up in August.

The trail today is one we’ve visited before but until now it’s only been in the winter time. This running adventure was a chance to peel back the deep snow that can blanket this area in the autumn, winter and late into the spring to reveal to amazing paths and rivers running through the Roosevelt National Forest!
