Cool off in a cave

7.Just a quick warning; this is not an adventure for those who are claustrophobic in most cases nor is it something you should undertake just because you see a “cool looking cave” (we’re lookin’ at you, gentlemen). Be safe out there! While not every state in the US has notable caves and/or caverns, most of them do. With breathtaking rock formations and underground lakes and rivers, these underground marvels are truly amazing to behold. On top of that, while the temperature on the surface climbs high, the temperature inside of a cavern is likely in the 50’s f so it may be a good idea to bring along a jacket. Are there cool caverns and caves near you? Let us know in the comments! CAVERNS AND CAVES BY STATE
